Cook with Tomaso Join Tomaso Olivari, a talented Genoese chef with a passion for traditional Ligurian cuisine.
Tomaso will take you on a journey through local shops and markets, then lead a fun and lively cooking class, sharing all the secrets of Ligurian dishes.
The class takes place in Tomaso’s historic home, one of the oldest in Genoa, nestled where the ancient city walls once stood.
For our English-speaking guests, we have a translator available to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
Pair your cooking class with a wonderful stroll through Genoa’s historic shops and markets. Shop for fresh ingredients and get a taste of local life before heading back to cook with Tomaso.
Our classes start with a warm Ligurian welcome: tea or coffee, biscuits or focaccia. Then, you’ll move to individual cooking stations to prep, cook, and enjoy your creations. We also include wine, water, coffee and digestive to make your meal complete.
Duration: 3 hours for groups of 1-5 people, or 4 hours for groups of 6-10 people.
Meeting point: We’ll meet right in front of The Seven and walk to the location together in just a few minutes.

For those who want a more relaxed experience, you can opt for a lunch or dinner without the cooking. Tommaso will personally prepare your dinner and welcome you either at his home or even on his boat.
